Birthday invite

Went through an interesting process with this invite as the initial product provided by my online printer was not up to my standards. I had to have the entire order redone and put it into my custom format. Its really fabulous, crisp, colorful, rich and luxurious, I love it. My client loved the finished cards and told me they looked so good he didn't want to mail them!

Gorgeous Gavriella

Here's a real stunner! Gavriella is so gorgeous! I'm currently working on Gavriella's invites for her Bat Mitzvah which will be presented in a 5" x 7" "Purple Haze" metallic petal fold card stock. They should be fantastic!

Here's what mom had to say: "Looks gorgeous, we really love it."

Gavriella's Invites

Mock up of Gavriella's invite. Gavriella's actual invites will be placed in a "purple haze" card stock, not the midnight blue as seen here. This is just a sample to showcase how the petal base opens into the invitation. (Below images were taken with my lowly mac camera which gives a mirror image!) Gavriella chose to have our custom rsvp email site, that links directly to her mom's email address, handle guest information.

Here's what mom had to say: Liz, The invitations are amazing, very contemporary and unique. You have to see Gavi’s face when she looks at them. Thanks again for everything Liz, I am sure we will do business again.

LBI Foundation—Art Cards

I'm putting together some art cards for a wonderful "green" charity. The cards will be produced in a series and sold to support the Rain Gardens at the LBI foundation for the Arts and Sciences. The featured artist of the cards is multi-talented artist Paul Daukas whose work has been featured in two recent shows (and who is also my father). The below pieces, "Catching the Wind," "New Barney," and "Storm Coming," are part of an acrylic series he created featuring Long Beach Island, NJ. To find out more about the LBIF Rain Garden go to http://lbifscience.org

Here's what they had to say: The cards came out beautifully!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I received them Friday afternoon and we packaged up some for the dinner last night at the LBIF. Don't know how many sold, but they looked great. Thanks again for your beautiful layout and design work. Have a pack for you when I see you next. ~Sandy

Hanukkah Luau

hanukkahluau

It's that time of year again. Time for the annual Hanukkah Luau. This began years ago when I wasn't quite sure how to throw a Hanukkah party and threw in the Luau portion to cover up any mistakes I made!

I actually cut out the envelopes and card stock and made that psuedo-embossed bronze colored leaf on the flap. I created the envelope out of crumbled supermarket paper bags to give it a rough beachy look. I also wanted to respect the economy and go green by cutting and creating my own invites for this yearly party. Look at that, I took the photos of the invites with my Mac camera and it looks like they need to be flipped!
